Sophie’s London Marathon Success

Sophie said of the experience, “Despite all the weeks of training, nothing can quite prepare you for the day itself. Nervously standing at the start line in Greenwich there was nowhere to hide and the race began. The sun was shining and the atmosphere was amazing, with huge crowds cheering all the way along the route. Friends and family were out to support and each familiar face I saw helped spur me on. I am relieved to say I made it to the finish line, not exactly smiling, but having really enjoyed the run. Now I keep being asked will I do it again – never say never, but probably not anytime soon!”

Haberman Ilett, a London based specialist accounting firm, has chosen to support IHCC this year. We are delighted the firm has chosen to work with us and are looking forward to organsing a range of fundraising events together. The next event to be held is Haberman Ilett’s IHCC Bike Challenge and School Sports Day later in May.
